If you cannot tell already, I am getting in the swing of fall. I created this jacket a couple weeks ago, but was NOT going to post it until I could wear it for more than 3 minutes without fainting lol!
Basically, I used S6321 (peplum omitted) cut 2 sizes larger and altered as per the photo below to create the flap. I faced one side with the same fabric so the fold over effect would show the original fabric and keep with the plaid lines. I purchased this fabric from HM fabrics while in NY. Their wool selection is rather impressive although its a madhouse navigating through it.
The altered pattern piece is the center from pieces of the jacket.
You know what???, that is a pretty jacket. Love the plaid, and you are wearing so well!
