DIY Mini Peplum Dress - completed!

I was so intrigued to make this shirt and was even more inclined to sew because I already had the pattern.  I went to JoAnne's and purchased some ponte fabric and spent about 3 1/2 hours or so sewing this top.

I L-O-V-E the way it turned out.

I created this shirt using vogue pattern V8815 widening the existing peplum and creating a larger peplum like below:

For the first peplum, cut and spread your peplum pattern as below and tape onto 8.5 x 11 papers.  Cut the new pattern and place on top of more 8.5 x 11 papers (taped together) to draw your second peplum.

For your second peplum, with your first peplum as a stencil, add 5 inches all the way around the skirt and connect the markings as we below and cut.
